• It is not possible to make a clinical diagnosis or recommend a specific course of treatment for any individual by email. The only way to reliably obtain an accurate diagnosis and treatment advice, as well as to identify any underlying conditions is to consult an experienced health professional face to face. The AHMF cannot refer you to a specific doctor, but there are many listed in the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine’s Register of Sexual Health Clinics.
• We are unable to respond to requests from people wishing to receive more detailed documents or references by email (for example, students preparing school projects). There is further information available in:
